The Adapter (set of 2 for one mount) helps to adjust the mounting angle of the fork pack mount on front forks (45 degree braze-on base becomes 30 degrees) to prevent contact of the bags with the wheel or spokes. By mounting the two angle elements, the distance between fork pack and front wheel can be increased, which minimises the risk of spoke contact if the braze-on base is in an unfavourable position on the fork.
